If there was ever such a thing as legal crack, we think that espresso balsamic glazed bacon would be it. One thing’s for sure: it’s totally addictive. So addictive, in fact, that we could not stop shoveling these sweet, savory strips into our mouths. If you need a new party trick or you’re just a bacon fanatic, this recipe is for you.
1-12 Oz Package Thick Cut Bacon
1-1/2 – 2 Tbs Espresso Coffee
1/2 Cup Olive Morada’s Dark Espresso Balsamic Vinegar
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Lay bacon slices on a rack over a sheet pan. Season both sides of bacon with coffee rub, and brush both sides with a nice coating of Olive Morada’s Espresso Balsamic Vinegar.
Place in oven for approximately 15 minutes…turning once…or until bacon caramelizes. This will happen fairly quick because of the balsamic, so keep an eye on it.
Serve alone, as a side to a delicious breakfast, or on top of a burger. Delicious!
