On Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3, more than 70 fine artists and craftsmen gather together for the prestigious Pigeon Key Art Festival in Marathon. Held as a fundraiser for the tiny historic island of Pigeon Key just off the famous 7 Mile Bridge, this two-day juried event attracts top artists from all over the world.
In addition to the fabulous art, you can enjoy delicious local cuisine, great live entertainment, kids’ activities and an auction by preeminent celebrity artists.
Because the festival is also a celebration of art, history and community, there will be several educational exhibits about Pigeon Key and the Foundation’s important preservation,
research and marine biology projects.
Admission is only $7 for both days (and no charge for kids 12 and under). FYI: Every dime stays local to help the Foundation carry out its mission to promote and preserve History, Education and Research.
Takes place at Marathon Community Park, MM49 in Marathon. Info: pigeonkeyartfestival.com.
