
For anyone who enjoys fine wine, spirited cocktails and great food, the Happy Hour at Key West’s acclaimed Tavern N’ Town is all that. Locals flock here nightly from 5 – 7 pm for the generous 2 for 1 cocktails, and the revolving lineup of top notch entertainment which regularly features island chanteuse, Carmen Rodriguez.
But what really rocks the boat is the “7 Tapas for $7” special. These globally inspired small tasting plates of gourmet appetizers are all artfully prepared and elicit appreciative nods from top food aficionados. The creative delectables are always changing and you can easily make a meal out of several small plates.
BTW: Dinner here is just as wonderful.
Stewarded by Executive Chef, James Jernigan, the restaurant is a regular recipient of Key West’s Master Chef Competition. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Jernigan previously traveled the country learning from world-renowned Chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Wolfgang Puck, and Joachim Splichal.
