If anyone knows how to throw an epic party, it’s Kate Miano, owner of Key West’s
luxe Gardens Hotel. And on Saturday, April 26, from 6 – 8 pm, she is throwing down the gauntlet.
For two glorious hours, the Gardens Hotel is hosting its first ever “Kaftans & Cocktails” — a celebration of fun and style that benefits Key West Pride. And while caftans are optional, there’s just no better way to chill than rocking a peignoir, sipping a salty margarita, and swapping tales with fellow frockers.
So what ignited the idea for this oh-so-fab happening? Truth be told, it was the hit Netflix series, Palm Royale. But honey, if you think Palm Beach is a gem, hold onto your glass
baubles. Key West is unlike any place in the world. With its vibrant mashup of free spirits, visionaries, creatives, eccentrics, and the like, we all live together harmoniously as “One
Human Family,” where laid-back island vibes rule!
And how about those stunning sunsets? Straight from nature’s own crayon box, swathed
with fiery oranges, greens, and every color of the rainbow, a Key West sunset is the perfect muse for creating or selecting a flawless caftan.
On top of the costuming, cocktailing, and convivial hob-nobbing, you can also enjoy terrific live music by some of Key West’s hottest performers.
Join the fun on Saturday, April 26, from 6 – 8 pm at the fabulous Gardens Hotel, 526 Angela Street, Key West.
Tickets for this unforgettable garden soiree are just $35 per person. BTW: You may also want to consider purchasing a ticket for someone who might need a helping hand — because here on our island paradise, paying it forward is just how we roll! Tickets: 305-294-4603; gaykeywest.com.
Hope to see you there!
