Cited as having the “best harmonies and vocals of any Grateful Dead tribute act,” this nationally celebrated, all-star collective reimagines The Dead’s music through bold drag performances, powerful vocals, and an electrifying stage presence.
The revolutionary band is renowned for its dazzling costumes and tight musicianship and is fronted by a harmony trio of BERTHAS, backed by a rocking all-BERTHA band.
Fusing rock nostalgia with modern queer artistry, the high-energy show merges a queer, feminist ethos with what’s largely been a male-dominated, heteronormative Deadhead scene.
Co-founder, Melody Walker, calls BERTHA a band “for the Girls, the Gays. and the Theys” and proclaims, “Here, there’s room for everyone!”
