EXHIBITION: Robert the Doll
Key West: Reportedly haunted, this life-like, 40” tall straw-filled doll was originally gifted to the young Robert Eugene Otto by his grandfather in 1904. Throughout the decades, Key West’s creepiest resident has purportedly caused “car accidents, broken bones, job loss, divorce and a cornucopia of other misfortune.” Some museum visitors even claim to have experienced “post-visit misfortunes” for “failing to respect Robert.” If you dare, you can visit with Robert the Doll daily from 10 am – 5 pm at Fort East Martello Museum, 3501 S Roosevelt Blvd. Just remember to be nice!
