Locals literally chomp at the bit for this highly anticipated weekend that showcases boat-to-table seafood, a dynamic lineup of live music, fabulous shopping and lots of family-friendly activities.

floridakeysseafoodfestival.comOrganized by the Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen’s Association, the festival not only celebrates the Keys’ rich maritime heritage, it also supports our sustainable fisheries management programs.

This year’s menu includes a big selection of Fried Fish and Shrimp Baskets; Grilled Spiny Lobster Platters; Stone Crab Claws and Peel-and-Eat Key West Pink Shrimp; Creamy Lobster Bisque and Bahamian-style Conch Chowder; Smoked Fish Dip, Conch Ceviche and Conch Fritters. There’s also non-seafood options like Hot Dogs and Hamburgers.

floridakeysseafoodfestival.comIn addition to the plethora of fresh, local seafood, the over-the-top Foodie Fest also serves up some tasty treats like Estella’s Famous Flan, signature Key Lime Pie, and lots of other homemade goodies.

When it’s time to wet your whistle, you can opt for several non-alcoholic options or choose your favorite beer, wine, or craft cocktail creation. FYI: Special kudos goes to the Frozen “Rumarita” made with locally made First Legal Rum — really yummers!
