October 12
Miami Carnival of Bands and Concert
Miami: Now in its 41st year, Miami Carnival has evolved into a cornerstone 
of the Caribbean diaspora, drawing participants and spectators from around the globe. The Ft Lauderdale-based weekend starts on Friday, October 10, and 
culminates in Miami on Sunday with the Miami Carnival Parade of Bands and

III Points Music Festival
Wynwood: Music, technology, and art collide in this cutting-edge festival that 
fuses an eclectic mix of diverse performances and installations. The two-night event boasts eleven stages and over 150 artists who perform into the wee hours of the morning. Takes place from 4 pm – 4 am on III Points Campus at Mana Wynwood. Info & schedule: IIIpoints.com.

Silent Night
Miami: Mark Campbell’s Pulitzer Prize-winning opera revisits the true story of a

Miami Symphony Orchestra: 
Grand Season Opening

Man of La Mancha
Coral Gables: This five-time Tony Award-winning musical is a moving tribute to hope, imagination, and the power of dreams. The “play within a play” was

Miami City Ballet: The Nutcracker

leads him to an 80-year-old novelist who is still haunted by the love she lost
