Want to learn how to create intriguing mango dishes, make the best Mango Mojito north of Havana, or shake things up with a Mango Margarita?
Then the 5th Annual Mango Fest Key West is your kind of party.
The annual festival which features all things mango, takes place on Wednesday, June 23 and runs through Sunday, June 27 when the island’s mango trees are bursting with clusters of the juicy fruit.
There is always a fantastic array of activities going on including culinary competitions and demonstrations, mango tastings, a marvelous Mango Brunch, poetry and prose contest, music, and lots of mango recipes with everything from tropical drinks to tacos and guacamole.
This year, Key West’s Bayview Park (corner of Truman and Eisenhower) becomes the epicenter for Mango Fest’s Vendor Village where you can shop our local boutiques, visit art galleries and enjoy some really great mango-inspired food.
This fun, fruitful event benefits the Key West Police Athletic/Activities League and is one of the Keys’ most significant fundraisers for kids.
