As you meander around the streets of Key West, you can’t help noticing all of the cool houses nestled among flora and fauna. Wouldn’t it be just fabulous if you could see what was behind some of those front doors?
Well, here’s your chance.
Now in its 61st year, the annual Key West Home Tours,™ one of the oldest and longest running home tours in America, is back. Old Island Restoration Foundation (OIRF) has been throwing open the doors to some of Key West’s most interesting properties since 1960, and these upcoming tours promise to be exceptional.
During the four 2-day tours, which run from December through March, you’ll be able to visit five gorgeous homes and gardens reflecting the varied tastes and originality of their owners. These incredible restorations, creative renovations, and unique interiors often showcase personal art collections, antiques, and much more.
This year, the number of visitors allowed inside each home will be limited, sanitizer will be provided and you’ll need to wear a mask.
As always, all proceeds from the tours stay in our local community fulfilling OIRF’s mission of “Celebrating and sustaining Key West’s unique architecture, culture and history.”
